Palace Tours Terms & Conditions
In these Terms, “Palace Tours,” “TravBuzz” and “the Company” mean TravBuzz, Inc., a Delaware corporation doing business as Palace Tours.
For all tours where specific Terms & Conditions are not mentioned with the tour (as printed above), the following Payment Terms and Cancellation Fees will apply:
PAYMENT TERMS:
(i) 25% at the time of booking
(ii) 75% or balance no later than 65 days prior to date of the first service sold by TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS
For reservations where any coupon is used or any add-on offers are given (like complimentary rooms at hotels pre or post trip etc), payments for balance amounts (80-90%) is expected by check / wire transfer. In absence of balance payment of these by check, the credit card will be charged for balance payment WITHOUT the coupon discounts and coupon will not be honored and special add on offers will be reversed and will be available for purchase at regular prices of Palace Tours.
CANCELLATION FEES:
For all other reservations (including all tours, hotel reservations, ground services, trains not mentioned, etc., except airline reservations):
(i) 25% of the total tour value if cancelled more than 65 days prior to date of first service sold by TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS
(ii) 100% of the total tour value if cancelled less than 65 days prior to date of first service sold by TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS
All transactions on this website are subject to the master agreement for Palace Tours Terms and Conditions outlined below.
Taxes for All Tours in India
Taxes for all tours in India are calculated and are due 30 days prior to departure, at the applicable rate in accordance to the Indian government guidelines. Payments for taxes are expected in the form of a check to Palace Tours. If payment is made by credit card a surcharge of 5% on tax amount will be payable. Taxes should be paid before any travel documents are issued.
For Airline Reservations
PAYMENT TERMS:
(i) 100% at the time of booking
All airline tickets may be paid by check drawn on a US bank or wire transfer. Please contact us for alternative payment methods. All payments received by wire transfer must include fee of $30.00 to cover bank transfer fees. Airline tickets issued on a special / reduced fare may incur an additional service fee. All physical airline tickets (i.e. non-electronic tickets) will require shipment by mail/courier, and the shipping fee for airline tickets will be charged back to the passenger.
AIR TICKET CANCELLATION / AIR TICKET CHANGE Fees:
An air ticket cancellation / air ticket change Fees of minimum $50.00 per ticket is charged by Palace Tours for any changes to the airline reservation or ticket required after the ticket is issued by the ticketing agency. Other Fees may also apply and these vary by ticketing agency, fare category, and airline. Specific cancellation terms & Fees are available upon request. Refunds for cancelled airline tickets are not guaranteed and are at the sole discretion of the ticketing agency and/or airline used and are dependent on fare category.
RESERVATIONS TERMS FOR ALL TOURS / RESERVATIONS
If the balance payment for booking is not made per the schedule above for ANY reason, reservations are treated as cancelled without possibility of any refund. The bookings for train tours are taken on the rates valid at the time of reservation and may change at the time of departure. In case of increase in tariff at the time of travel, the new tariff will be applicable and billed back to the passenger.
Payment of deposit against any tour(s) or reservation(s) does not imply rendering of any service and no services will be provided based solely upon this deposit. Payment of deposit guarantees rendering of purchased services once full payment has been received in full by TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS as per the above Terms and Conditions. All reservations are non-transferable under any circumstances. All reservations are subject to cancellation without notice if payment terms are not adhered to. In such a case, no refunds (partial or full) are due back to the passenger.
A NOTE ABOUT PAYMENT TERMS FOR ALL TOURS / RESERVATIONS
Payments are accepted via major credit card, bank transfer, or check drawn on a US bank. Credit card payments which are declined by the payee's bank/creditor two (2) or more times are subject to a $30.00 transaction failure fee on the second and each subsequent failed attempt. All payments received by wire transfer must include fee of $30.00 to cover bank transfer fees. All airline tickets may be paid by check drawn on a US bank or wire transfer. Please contact us for alternative payment methods.
It is the payee's responsibility to inform his/her bank or creditor of the intent of TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS to draw funds from his/her account and to ensure that sufficient funds are available. See the Schedule of Additional Fees for additional fees that may be associated with your tour / reservation.
Clients are responsible for any and all legal/collections fees associated with all collections matters in case the payment is not received.
No-Shows: In the event of a no-show for all or part of a tour, this will be treated as a cancellation and the 100% cancellation Fees remains in effect, and no refunds, either full or partial, will be due back to the client.
A NOTE ABOUT CANCELLATION FOR ALL TOURS / RESERVATIONS
Because of the special nature of the programs, suppliers impose rigid cancellation fees; please be aware that TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS has no control over such fees and cannot consider to make any exceptions to these charges. Any additional cancellation fees required by the supplier will be informed to the passenger within 30 days of the cancellation.
In the event that a Client cancels his / her tour, the refund of any exchanged currency will be dependent on exchange rates at time of cancellation. If the foreign currency weakens relative to the US$, the rate of exchange on the date of cancellation / modification will be applied to calculate the refund. Any cancellation fees as per the terms and conditions will apply.
Note: ALL cancellations must be received by TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS in writing; cancellation/s will be effective when the copy is received by TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS, regardless of the date in which it is sent by the canceling party.
Because a tour is an integrated package of prepaid services, if a customer charges back or reverses part or all of any charge, or fails to pay any amount due for a booking, the Company is not holding payment for that trip and may immediately suspend or cancel that booking and all remaining components of the same trip or itinerary under the cancellation terms, without obligation to provide any services for which it is not being paid and without further liability. The customer remains responsible for amounts due for services already provided or costs already incurred, together with the Company's reasonable, non-recoverable payment-processing and dispute-handling costs.
In case a refund is due for any reason, any refunds made to clients from TRAVBUZZ/PALACE TOURS are subjected to a 5% Administration Fee calculated on the amount refunded.
Downgrade in occupancy after the deposit payment is collected (i.e. reducing the number of travelers) is considered a cancellation of the full tour and is subject to the cancellation fees associated with your tour / reservation. Any fees associated with change of date/occupancy/name/schedule will be informed to the passenger before any changes are made by TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS.
See the Schedule of Additional Fees for other fees that may be associated with your tour / reservation.
Fees associated with change of date/occupancy/name/schedule do NOT cover the cost of change to airline tickets used in the tour. Cost of airline tickets changes are additional and will be billed back to the passenger and all bills should be settled at least 30 days prior to first service sold by TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS otherwise the entire tour or portions thereof can be cancelled without notice to the passenger and TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS will not be liable to pay any refunds or liabilities implied or direct to the passenger due to lapse in service.
PRICES, RATES & FARES
Prices / rates are shown in American dollars (unless otherwise indicated). Because of currency exchange rate fluctuations, prices of international tours may change without prior notice. Palace Tours upon request will disclose the exchange rate being used for your tour. Palace Tours reserves the right to apply a currency surcharge if needed before accepting the final payment of the tour. Clients may have the option to lock in the rates for the tour in such circumstances by paying for the tour in full at the rates applicable at the time of payment.
In the event that a Client cancels his / her tour, the refund of any exchanged currency will be dependent on exchange rates at time of cancellation. If the foreign currency weakens relative to the US$, the rate of exchange on the date of cancellation / modification will be applied to calculate the refund. Any cancellation fees as per the terms and conditions will apply. In the event that a tour is canceled through no action of the Client, the Client will receive a full refund of US$ subject to the administrative fees terms.
TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS reserves the right to increase tour prices to cover increased costs of tariffs and taxes. International airfares (if shown) are from the gateway cities of JFK or LAX and should be used as a guideline only. Best available airfares will be quoted, applicable at time of departure, based on individual gateways for the complete air itinerary.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
All passengers must be in possession of a valid passport; its validity must be for six (6) months beyond the re-entry date into the passenger’s home country. A visa or visas may be required for some or all of the countries visited on the tour selected. Please check your visa requirements at time of booking. It is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure that all his or her visa and passport requirements are met.
TOUR INFORMATION & DOCUMENTS
Acknowledgement of booking will be sent immediately upon initiation of a reservation. Final tour documents consisting of detailed tour itinerary, tour vouchers, hotel vouchers, airline electronic ticket (“e-ticket”) copies etc. as applicable are dispatched electronically from our offices approximately 21–30 days prior to departure. If documents are required or requested for earlier delivery, and/or for delivery of hard copies of the documents by mail/courier outside of the contiguous United States, a fee of $50.00 will apply to cover extra handling and processing. All physical airline tickets (i.e. non- e-tickets) will require shipment by mail/courier, and the shipping fee for airline tickets will be charged back to the passenger. All shipping charges may be paid by check drawn on a US bank or wire transfer. All shipping charges paid by credit card will incur a $10.00 processing fee above the total shipping invoice. All payments received by wire transfer must include fee of $30.00 to cover bank transfer fees.
UNUSED TOUR ITEMS
No refund will be made for any unused accommodations, missed meals, transportation segments, cruise portions, sightseeing tours or any other unused service. Such unused items are neither refundable nor exchangeable (no exceptions).
INSURANCE
TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS recommends that you purchase a travel protection plan to help protect you and your travel investment against the unexpected. For your convenience, we offer travel protection through third party insurance services. For more information on the available plans or to enroll please ask any of our advisors.
HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS strongly recommends that you consult with your personal physician or Passport Health at http://www.passporthealthusa.com in regards to your itinerary and required inoculations. If you have any medical condition or allergy that may interfere with your trip, you are required to complete a “Medical Waiver” and your physician must certify that you are fit to travel. Failure to complete and return this waiver to TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS may result in cancellation of your tour without a refund. In absence of a waiver, TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS deems that you are fit to travel.
YOUR TOUR PRICE INCLUDES:
ACCOMMODATIONS
Accommodations, if specified in the itinerary, will be provided on a double occupancy basis at deluxe or first-class hotels. Rooms will be assigned by the respective supplier/s on a run-of-the-house basis, in category/ies as specified in the itinerary. In the rare cases where deluxe properties do not exist, best available (this term may be defined by the hospitality industry in the region providing such accommodation or by trade custom) accommodation/lodging will be used exclusively. All per person rates are based on double occupancy of the respective accommodation units as described above. If the client is not able to fit in the accommodation provided due to physical limitations, they will be required to purchase additional accommodation on site directly from the Vendors or Palace Tours at full published cost. Palace Tours is not responsible for any refunds / alterations in the accommodations.
Accommodations in trains are managed by respective train companies and are beyond the control of TravBuzz Inc / Palace Tours.
The following refers to bus/coach tours, and may not apply to train tours or private tours.
SIGHTSEEING & LAND TOUR SERVICES [Bus/coach tours only]
The following services, if specified in the itinerary, are included in your tour price: transportation between the airports and hotels, baggage handling, sightseeing with English-speaking guides as mentioned in the itinerary. Sightseeing will be via motor coach, private car and other modes of transportation (air conditioned where necessary and available), as determined by the nature of the terrain and as outlined in the itinerary.
SPECIAL ENTERTAINMENT [Bus/coach tours only]
Cultural entertainment events, gala evenings and/or festivals are not included unless specified in the itinerary.
AIRLINE CLAUSE [In tours where air travel is included]
The airline(s) used in conjunction with tours provided by TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS is not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passenger/s is not/are not onboard their aircraft. The passenger tickets in use by the airline, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airline and passenger/s. Airfares, where used, are current at the time of printing of this document and are subject to change without notice. Passengers are required to check with the airline directly at least 72 hours prior to departure in order to reconfirm tickets and seat assignments.
LUGGAGE [Bus/coach tours only]
Luggage arrangements, if specified in the itinerary, include transportation and transfer of two standard sized suitcases per person.
AIRLINES BAGGAGE REGULATIONS [In tours where air travel is included]
Passengers are required to check with their carrier for specific baggage allowances. Baggage and personal effects are at owner’s risk throughout the tour. Carrier liability for passengers’ baggage is clearly stated on the passenger contract printed on all tickets; description can also be found for inspection at the airport or city offices of the carrier. Liability for checked and unchecked baggage shall in no event exceed the actual loss incurred by the passenger, subject to proof of the amount of loss. Please read all of the conditions of your ticket. Federal law and treaties limit the amount of recovery for loss of or damage to your luggage or its contents.
TOUR PRICE EXCLUSIONS
Your tour price does not include: Air transportation (unless specifically stated as included); costs and fees to obtain or extend your passport/s; visa fees and processing fees; inoculations and vaccinations (if required); health certificate; airport taxes and country departure taxes (if applicable); all items of a personal nature including alcoholic beverages, meals not specified in the itinerary, any gratuities, excess baggage charges, cancellation, health, accident and baggage insurance, any transfers not specified in the itinerary, and any items not specifically listed as included.
SCHEDULE OF ADDITIONAL FEES
Wire Transfers: For incoming wires, $30 to be added for bank processing.
In case the coupon is used at the time of reservation, balance payment (atleast 80% of tour value) has to be made by Check or Wire Transfer. In case a credit card is used for balance payment, the coupon will be reversed.
PHOTOGRAPHY
TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS reserves the right to take photographs during the operation of any program and to use resulting photographs for promotional purposes. Any tour passengers who prefer that their images not be used are asked to notify their tour escort at the beginning of the program.
RESPONSIBILITY–LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TRAVBUZZ INC. / PALACE TOURS and all affiliates (herein referred to as “TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS”) act only in the capacity as an agent for the hotels, airlines, bus companies, railroads, ship lines, and/or contractors providing accommodations, transportation or other services to the passenger. The passenger is advised that TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS purchases such transportation, hotel accommodations, restaurant and other services from various independent suppliers who are not affiliated with TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS. TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS makes every effort to select the best suppliers of the aforementioned services, however, TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS does not control the operations of these agents and as a result, CANNOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE OR OTHER CLAIM which may occur as the result of any and/or all of the following: (1) the wrongful, negligent or arbitrary acts or omissions on the part of the independent supplier, agent, its employees or others who are not under the direct control or supervision of TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS; (2) defects or failures of any vessel, aircraft, vehicle or other instrumentality which is under the control of an independent supplier; or (3) loss, injury or damage to person, property or otherwise, resulting directly or indirectly from any Acts of God, dangers incident to the sea, fire, breakdown in machinery or equipment, or wars (whether declared or not), hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferage, medical epidemics, quarantines, or customs regulation, defaults, delays or cancellations or alterations in itinerary due to schedule changes, or from any causes beyond TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS’s control. Further, TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from insufficient or improperly issued passports, visas or other legal documents. All coupons, exchange orders, receipts, contracts and tickets issued by TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS are issued subject to any and all tariffs, terms, and conditions under which any services are provided by such hotels, airlines, bus companies, railroads, ship lines or owners or contractors or by any person in their employ. TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS in no way guarantees the quality, authenticity, or value of any good(s) purchased by the passenger during any tour. Palace Tours / TravBuzz is not responsible for any damages, direct or indirect resulting from any overbooking or any other circumstances that may result in change in itinerary or services or inability of the guest to be a part of a tour not directly in its control. In case of overbooking, TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS will only be liable for refund the charged amount to the guest. TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS shall in no event be responsible or liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, incidental, special or punitive damages arising from your interaction with any retailer/vendor, and TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS expressly disclaims any responsibility or liability for any resulting loss or damage.
RESERVATION OF RIGHTS
TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS (when deemed necessary) reserves the right to: (1) cancel any itinerary or any part of it; (2) make any alterations to the itinerary (including but not limited to substitution of hotels, attractions, destinations, and the order of the itinerary) taking into consideration the practicality of the itinerary or to accommodate any unforeseen issues that may arise on the ground; and (3) decline to accept or to retain any person as a tour passenger should such person’s health, mental or physical condition, in the sole opinion of TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS, impede the operation of the tour of the other passengers. Tour passengers are held responsible for being in sufficient good health to undertake the tour. If a passenger is asked to leave while the tour is in progress, that person will be responsible for charges incurred on account of such departure from the tour and/or return to his/her home country. In such a case, TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS will not refund any monies. For Group Tours where feasible Palace Tours tries and operate every tour with minimum of 1 passenger. The company reserves the right to cancel any tour without notice before the tour and refund the money in full and is not responsible for any direct or indirect damages to the guest due to such an action.TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS will accept no further liability or obligation toward that person or third party.
DISCLAIMER
TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS is not responsible for any errors, omissions or misquotes contained in this document or any other accompanying promotional documentation. The contents of said document or promotional documentation may be changed anytime (including but not limited to rates and itinerary) without notice and at TRAVBUZZ / PALACE TOURS’ sole discretion.
GOVERNING LAW & VENUE
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where the non-waivable consumer-protection law of the client's home state applies. The parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Broward County, Florida; a client who is a consumer may also bring an individual action in the courts of his or her home state. Nothing in these Terms waives any non-waivable right or remedy under the law of the client's home state.

These Terms & Conditions are subject to change at any time with or without notice, and the current version in effect on the date of tour/service completion will prevail. TRAVEL AGENT FEE DISCLOSURE
Travel Agents are required to pay for 5% of credit card charges. Any fees related to credit card transactions will be deducted from Travel Agent's commission. Special offers and promo codes do not apply.
ARBITRATION; CLASS-ACTION WAIVER
Informal resolution first. Before starting any arbitration or court proceeding, you agree to email us at travel@palacetours.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve the dispute informally.
Binding arbitration. Except as stated below, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to your booking, these Terms, or your tour (a "Dispute") that is not resolved informally will be resolved by final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, before a single arbitrator, seated in Broward County, Florida. The arbitrator will be selected from a list of neutral arbitrators provided by the AAA, from which each party may strike and rank candidates, and the AAA will then appoint the arbitrator from the remaining candidates in accordance with its rules. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Class-action waiver. You and the Company agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding. If this waiver is held unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim (and only that claim) will be severed and heard in a court of competent jurisdiction, not in arbitration.
Opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing travel@palacetours.com within 30 days after you first sign or accept these Terms, stating your name, booking reference, and intent to opt out. Opting out affects no other provision of these Terms.
Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either party may seek injunctive relief in court to protect its intellectual property or confidential information.
Consumer rights preserved. Nothing in this Section waives any right or remedy that cannot be waived under the law of your home state, including the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act and the Truth-in-Consumer Contract, Warranty and Notice Act (N.J.S.A. 56:12-14 et seq.).
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The Company acts only as an agent for the independent suppliers who provide the transportation, accommodation, and other services comprising your tour, as described in the Responsibility / Limitation of Liability section above. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law: (a) the Company's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to your booking or your tour, regardless of the form of action or theory of liability, will not exceed the total amount you actually paid to the Company for the affected booking; and (b) the Company will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost enjoyment, or the cost of substitute arrangements, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in this Section limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by the Company's own gross negligence or willful misconduct, or any non-waivable right or remedy under the law of your home state (including the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act and TCCWNA). If any limitation here is held unenforceable, the remaining limitations continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
FORCE MAJEURE
The Company is not liable for any failure or delay in performing, or for any cancellation, curtailment, or disruption of a tour, caused by events beyond its reasonable control ("Force Majeure"), including but not limited to: acts of God; natural disaster, severe weather, fire, flood, or earthquake; epidemic, pandemic, or public-health emergency; government orders, travel advisories, quarantines, or restrictions; border, airspace, or port closures; war, terrorism, civil unrest, or riot; strikes or labor disputes; utility, transport, or supplier failure; or supplier insolvency.
If a tour is canceled, curtailed, or materially disrupted by a Force Majeure event, the Company will, to the extent it is able to recover the corresponding amounts from its suppliers, either: (i) provide you a future-travel credit equal to the recoverable amount, valid toward a future booking; or, at the Company's election, (ii) refund the amount actually recovered from suppliers, less non-recoverable costs and the administrative fee. Amounts that suppliers do not refund to the Company are non-refundable to you. The Company is not liable for incidental or consequential costs you incur as a result of a Force Majeure event (for example, airfare, visa fees, or independently booked services). We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against such events.
PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION (GDPR / CCPA)
Data we collect and why. To arrange and deliver your tour, the Company collects and processes personal data you provide, including each traveler's name, date of birth, nationality, and passport details, your contact details, and payment information. We use this data to make and manage your booking, arrange services with suppliers, communicate with you, process payments, and comply with legal obligations.
Who we share it with. We share your personal data only with the suppliers and partners necessary to provide your services - which, for tours in the European Union such as Spanish rail, may include EU-based operators and ground handlers (for example, Renfe) - and with payment processors and authorities where required by law. We do not sell your personal data.
International transfers. Delivering your tour may require transferring your personal data between the United States and the countries where your tour takes place, including the European Union. Where required, such transfers are made under appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights. Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, our lawful basis is performance of your booking contract and, where applicable, legal compliance or your consent. You may access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, request data portability, and lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA as described in our Privacy Policy. To exercise any right, email travel@palacetours.com.
Payment-card security. Payment-card data is handled per the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS); card security codes (CVV/CVC) are used only to authorize payment and are not stored.
